In its current generation that was introduced in 2019, it's geared more toward suburban adventures on pavement and adopts a unique sporty style inspired by the edgy Camaro.The Blazer would be more fun if it drove like the Camaro that inspires it. Instead, it's a mildly sporty SUV that is more playful in turns than most of its competitors. Strip away the big front grille and the bold exterior styling, and the Blazer is an average midsize SUV. But that styling counts for something, especially in a class prone to anonymity.Blazer delivers the on-road comfort you expect from a modern SUV. The ride is stable and controlled without being overly harsh. The front seats are well bolstered and remain supportive for long stretches. The rear seats are fairly flat but are set at a comfortable angle and height.We recommend the base 2LT trim, like this Blazer, for most Blazer shoppers. For the money, we dont see the need to step up to higher trims and there are plenty of options to dress up the entry-level model. In particular, we suggest adding the Convenience package, that this Blazer features for adaptive cruise control and several convenience features.Standard features include 18-inch alloy wheel, heated front seats, heated exterior mirrors, keyless entry and start, a 10-inch touchscreen, a power drivers seat, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone compatibility, 4 USB ports, a Six-speaker audio system with available satellite radio and cruise control.Upgrades found in the Convenience Package include... the power rear liftgate, wireless charging, rear cross traffic alert, rear park assist, lane change alert with side blind zone alert and roof rails, while he Confidence Package picks up rear cross traffic alert, rear park assist and lane change alert with blind zone alert.
